This is the first collaboration in producing a piece of poetry with my classmate non other that the cheeky Farah Zawani! She insisted on a theme that revolves around nature so I've decided to verbally portray the four seasons which is Summer, Winter, Autumn & Spring even though we don't experience them here in our beloved country Malaysia. Sounds unfortunate but never worry because within this poem, we will inject you with a glimpse of how those seasons can affect our lives and what makes them different from each other. Do enjoy. :)
Bright were the days,
Upon which Summer shines blatantly,
Beneath these warm healthy rays,
Joyful emotions expressed openly.
Tremble before the chilly breaths of Winter,
Cold nights seem inevitable,
Cover up the soul from an unmistakable shiver,
Search for the strengths to make this situation bearable.
It was never too bright nor too dark,
And finding the lights are never that hard,
But sometimes in Autumn, your faith stark,
Due to wicked laughter within a faint heart.
Embrace the delightful Spring,
Where seeds of hope blossomed gracefully,
Anticipate the joy that future intended to bring,
For the passion within our heart stays permanently...
(Special thanks again to Farah Zawani!) :D
