Damai Yang Didambakan

Punyai segala tetapi damai tiada...

Kata-kata yang cukup bermakna. Meskipun ayat ringkas akan tetapi pemahaman tentang maksud yang akan dicerna oleh minda kian berbeza pada setiap individu.

Pada pandangan saya, ayat di atas jika diterjemahkan secara praktikal akan menunjukkan bahawa sekiranya seseorang itu memiliki segalanya (harta, pangkat dan sebagainya) tidak semestinya dia mempunyai ketenangan jiwa.

Ketenangan jiwa = kebahagiaan hati.

Dari sudut pandangan lain, kita mungkin dapat melihat seseorang itu kelihatan stabil secara fizikal namun di dalam lubuknya tersimpan seribu satu masalah yang mengundang parah serta mengoncang ketabahan hatinya. Situasi sebegini sukar diperhati dengan mata kasar namun kebenaran itu tidak akan terselindung selamanya.

Jadi, apakah jalan penyelesaian kepada situasi sebegini?

Cuba lihat sekeliling dan perhatikan nikmat dunia yang anda perolehi... Dan tanyalah dari mana asalnya nikmat itu. Jika anda faham, maka janganlah lalai lagi dengan segala material duniawi yang hanya sementara sahaja tempohnya. Tumpukan perhatian mengejar janji Illahi yang menunggu kita di alam selepas tamatnya hayat ini...

Duhai Dunia

Dunia,
Bukan ini yang aku pinta,
Ingin sangat aku lari dari realitimu,
Yang seumpama penjara.

Duhai dunia,
Cabaranmu merbahaya,
Dugaanmu tidak terduga,
Aku lemah tidak bermaya.
